Jessie J - Do It Like a Dude

Wow, I have not updated this blog in a while...

Anyways, here's a little drawing I did of myself (I tried) in accordance to Jessie J's song "Do It Like A Dude." using copic markers and outlining pens. My typography skills are still a little rusty.

I was actually surprised that this random drawing turned out good. Didn't really know what I was doing with it, but I just continued to go with the flow and voila ! This is the result.

My plans for this one is a possible New Years theme or some fantasy related stuff. Time to hit up Photoshop and attempt to make it pretty.

Red Ranger & Music

I had a bit of trouble choosing what my vector illustration should be for one of my classes. In the end I decided to go for a Power Ranger. My favourite colour is obviously red, so I chose a reference picture of one of the Red Rangers and made it into my own. I added a digital music feel to it as you can see. Total time spent = 5 hours in the dark at a sleepover at my friends house. Click on the image for a higher resolution (obviously).

Random #1

So, I was just sketching out a guy and came to the conclusion that this is what I'd look like if I were an anime guy. The hat says it all. So I scanned it into my laptop and coloured it in using Adobe Photoshop CS5. It's a bit rough around the edges, but I'm okay with it.
